Over the weekend we were in Turin. There was a chocolate festival and a French market. Funny thing is, we got most of our chocolate from the French market! I thought that the best chocolate was from the French market. In Turin it was around two degrees celcius. It was so cold my whole family got gloves. My mom and I got our gloves first and from the French market. The French market was also a Cristmas market so all of the epic journeyers were surprised when no stalls sold Cristmas ornaments. We ended up just getting an ornament at the Molè. Inside the Molè, there was a cinema museum and it showed you how movies were made and some special effects too. My favorite part was the simulator. Outside the Molè, there was a church and during a mass there were some guards. My mom and I were really upset with dad when he said he didn't want to wait for the guards to come out.
Today we went to Acquario di Genova. It was awesome. We saw dolphins, sharks, and many other funky creatures. Here is a photo album from the aquarium. The aquarium was really fun. Even though it is an aquarium we saw a tortoise; it was from a species believed to be extinct.
At the aquarium I got my dream of a lifetime at the gift store: a stuffed penguin! He is really cute and really fluffy. That's why I named him Fluffi. Sgraffito are paintings that are so good they look like architecture. My brother thinks sgraffiti is so cool he is doing his video postcard on it! I also think sgraffito is super cool. Here is a photo of sgraffito: Around the window is sgraffito. Do you think it looks real? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I hope all of you are having fun in wherever you live! I really miss all of WMS! We are 66% into our trip. Today we went minigolfing. It was really fun. We also found a different path that is: A, closer to our apartment and B, we don't have to go through the park. Even though the park is awesome, it takes a longer time to get there. Only my mom, my brother, and I played. Here is the score sheet:
As you can see, my mom won and Luigi and I tied. Today was the best day in Rapallo so far. This is really unusual. I usually know what to blog about! Ugh, this is so frustrating! What should I blog??!! Ok. I've finally chosen. Drumroll per favore (please). Things in my house!!! I know that sounds not worthy for a drumroll. Well anyway, lets get to it.
Today we went to Genova. We had to get up at 6:00 in the morning to catch a train which was at 8:30 in the morning. On the way to the train station we stopped at Billa, our local grocery store. At the checkout counter the lady gave Luigi and I Cattsivio Me 2 (Despicable Me 2) mighty beans. Mighty beans are ellipsoids with a metal ball inside them so when you put them on a track they flip over as if they're summer salting. When we opened them we found that Luigi got papa minion. And I got a purple minion. When we finally got to Genova we went inside a church. It was super cool. What I liked even more was one of the palaces. At first it was closed but then a person came and unlocked it for us. We asked the guard to see the second floor. I can't remember what was in the first 3 rooms but the last three rooms were amazing!
Even though they were meeting rooms I can remember them as clear as a diamond! They had beautiful ceilings and one even had a mirror table so you could see the ceiling without looking up if you were bored. Once upon a time Pengey's family asked for some baguettes. Pengey decided to surprise them by getting the baguettes from France. He said he would be gone for 2 days.
The next day he was ready to go. He walked until he was sure they couldn't see him. Then he got a taxi to the airport. He took off. He landed. He got tons of baguettes. The next day he went back home. His family was so happy when he walked in the door. They didn't know what really happened. They said the baguettes tasted like real French baguettes. Then he told them his secret. And they all laughed and hugged him. The end Once upon a time Pengey decided he wanted to go to Italy. The next day he held a family meeting. He announced that he would be going to Italy. Here is a list of things Pengey did in Italy:
