After departing from San Fruttuoso we went to Camogli, another brilliantly picturesque town in this area. The ferry took us in to town around sunset, allowing for some nice photo ops on the sea.
Once ashore we stopped in for some caffé and cioccolato caldo at the nearest bar. It was a good stop to keep body and soul together. There's a pleasant church right at the harbor, so we ducked in to check it out.
Like most of the churches we've seen in Italy, this one had an ornately decorated altar. This one also had a cool array of chandeliers adorning the threshold to the altar. Unfortunately, the lights were very dimmed at the time we went so it was hard to see everything. The photo below is making heavy use of my camera's low-light capabilities.
We had some time to kill before our train home so we ambled about for a while. While out walking we came upon many snapshots of everyday life for the people here-- including a gigantic frying pan mounted on a wall ("In the Pan" picture available on the F&F page), a gaggle of school kids playing crazy games, and lots of interesting little shops.
