One day last week, we hopped on a train to Trastevere and then we hopped on a tram for 8 stops. When we got off, we were gradually swept into a crowd of people. We headed for Campo Dei Fiori.
We went up to a bakery called Forno Campo Dei Fiori and we watched the baker make focaccia. He even posed for a picture!
On our way to sit and eat we passed some baths that were stolen from the public baths by the Farnese family. They were really big! We sat at a bench in the Farnese Piazza and waited for my Dad to bring us the food, and then we sat and drank and talked.
Then, we walked to the Theater of Marcellus. It was like a mini Colosseum. We also went up the Capitoline Hill and saw the Imperial Forum. After we left Capitoline, I was so ready to go home!
