Today was our last day in Rapallo and it was very tiring. We woke up at approximately 6:10 and we were very sleepy. After eating breakfast we went out with our luggage to the train station. From there we went to Genova and then we switched trains to Ventimiglia. By then we had already been sitting on our patookies for two and a half hours.
The train to Antibes was a international train from Italy to France and during the train ride we were starving our heads off. But wait! There's more!
THEN, we walked down a road for what seemed like an eternity. First we would turn left, then right, then right then left, I even asked myself "will I ever be able to navigate this place?" When we finally got to our rental house, the lady was a little late (not that it mattered).
When I stumbled into the house, it was a palace! We have four floors and at the top a staircase rising into the ceiling. Apparently there used to be a rooftop terrace and that's where the staircase would go.
I want to say I want to be here longer but I'm not so sure currently. (Not because I don't like it.)
