We have been slowly wending our way to Roma (where I understand all roads eventually lead). Finally, we have arrived. After some stress and arguing over how we had managed to lose the documents for our car rental, we all piled in the car and drove to the Hotel Cavalieri (aka the Waldorf) to drop off the car. The nice garage attendant found the documents in the car, thereby clearing the air within the Epic Journey family. Sojourner was also able to work out with the Hertz person a discrepancy about the fee for the car rental. As she pointed out, they're used to making their guests happy at 5-star establishments like the Waldorf.
Despite my objections (I felt out of place in my tee shirt and running shoes), we went up to the top floor to partake of the sweeping panoramic view of Roma, then walked home.
Our apartment is spacious, and close to the Vatican. Plenty of room for guests.
